❌ Order Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

BellePoshak operates on a strict cancellation policy to maintain fairness, manage high-value inventory efficiently, and ensure smooth fulfillment. Due to the nature of our made-to-order or limited-stock ethnic wear items, we cannot accommodate flexible cancellations once order processing begins.

By placing an order with BellePoshak, you agree to all the terms outlined below.


2. Cancellation Window

You may cancel your order within 5 hours of placing it, provided:

  • The order has not entered the packing or dispatch phase.

  • You email us at support@belleposhak.com with the exact Order ID and request.

Cancellations will not be accepted via phone, WhatsApp, or social media. The request must be emailed formally.


3. Non-Cancellable Orders

After the 5-hour window, your order becomes non-cancellable. This includes:

  • Prepaid orders already processed by the warehouse

  • Orders marked as "Shipped" or "In Transit"

  • Custom-stitched or altered items

  • Flash sale, clearance, or promotional items

  • Orders during festivals and high-volume sale events

We reserve the right to refuse any cancellation request that falls outside the allowed time window or does not comply with this policy.


4. Refund for Cancelled Orders

If the cancellation is within the allowed time:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method.

  • It may take 7–10 business days to reflect, depending on your bank or gateway (Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, etc.).

  • If the payment was made via Cash on Delivery (COD), the order will be cancelled without refund, as no funds were received.

If BellePoshak cancels the order:

  • You will receive a full refund, regardless of payment method, if cancellation is due to:

    • Stock unavailability

    • Pricing error

    • Shipping serviceability issues

    • Suspected fraudulent activity


5. Auto-Cancellation by BellePoshak

We reserve the right to cancel any order:

  • Without explanation if the item is out of stock or unavailable

  • If there is a pricing or product description error

  • If fraud or misuse is suspected (e.g., multiple COD orders without confirmation)

  • If the customer has a history of repeated cancellations or returns

You will be notified via email of any such cancellation. Refunds will be issued where applicable.


6. Stitched or Customized Items

Orders for custom-stitched, altered, or personalized items cannot be cancelled under any circumstances once placed. These are considered "made specifically for you" and not eligible for modification or refund.


7. Changes to Order (Modification Policy)

We do not allow changes to the product, size, delivery address, or payment method once an order is confirmed unless:

  • The request is made within the 5-hour window.

  • The order has not entered processing.

After that, no modifications are possible. If you still want changes after 5 hours, you must wait for the order to be delivered and then request a return (only if eligible under the Return Policy).


8. COD (Cash on Delivery) Cancellation Rules

We take COD abuse seriously. To protect the brand:

  • Repeated COD order cancellations may result in a temporary or permanent ban from placing future orders.

  • Customers may be required to prepay in full before further orders are accepted.

If a COD order is refused or returned without legitimate reason, we reserve the right to deny service in the future.


9. Policy Misuse and Abuse

The cancellation policy is designed to protect both the brand and genuine customers. Any attempt to misuse the policy by:

  • Frequently placing and cancelling orders

  • Manipulating COD loopholes

  • Making fake cancellation claims

  • Using policy wording to demand refunds beyond terms

...will result in permanent account suspension and possible reporting to payment gateways, courier partners, or legal authorities.


10. Legal Standing and Enforcement

  • This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India.

  • All disputes arising under this policy shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Insert Your City or State].

  • BellePoshak reserves the full right to update, amend, or cancel this policy without prior notice. Any such updates will take effect immediately upon being published on our website.
